1.Introduction

Introducing the fish and shellfish that is in season in July, divided into the whole of Japan and the top three prefectures. The season of fish and shellfish may vary depending on the region and year due to climate change, so please consider it as reference data only.

The number of fish and shellfish that will be in season in July is 35 out of the 87 types surveyed. The following is a list of 35 types of fish and shellfish in no particular order.

2.Fish

5.Ranking of each prefectures

Hokkaido (11 types of fish and shellfish) and Nagasaki prefecture (same as above) were ranked first, and Miyagi prefecture (10 types) was ranked third among the prefectures with the highest catches and types of fish and shellfish that will be in season in July.

Shimane prefecture (9 types) is in 4th place, and Aomori prefecture (8 types) and Iwate prefecture (same) are in 5th place.
