About furoshiki and clothes deodorizers
For each trip, we use one furoshiki as packaging material. Please take this furoshiki home with you as a souvenir of Japan. We will deliver rental clothing with furoshiki to HINODEYA, your 19 June check-in accommodation.

Furoshiki is a traditional Japanese wrapping material with a history of over 1200 years. As we can use furoshiki many times, it is famous in Japan and internationally as a sustainable packaging material. We would be delighted if our customers who use our clothing rental service, which contributes significantly to reducing CO2 emissions, could experience the benefits of furoshiki as a gift.

The use of Furoshiki as a bag is explained on the YouTube channel of the Furoshiki specialty store MUSUBI, from which we also purchase Furoshiki.

About the season of food

The best way to eat fish, seafood, and fruit is to eat them when they are in season. We will tell you what foods are in season during your trip. In particular, seafood is essential to eat locally produced in season, so we have restricted this information to your destination. If you find it in a restaurant, try it. Talk to the restaurant staff about the season, and you might have a lively conversation.

How to communicate well with Japanese people

I want to share how to communicate with the Japanese people well and efficiently, having traveled to more than 40 foreign countries and all the prefectures of Japan. This skill is beneficial when traveling in rural areas of Japan.

Even if Japanese people are interested in foreign tourists, they are shy and need more confidence in their language skills. Hence, creating a system for communicating with Japanese people is essential.
