September itinerary in Japan Day 3 (Iwate Day 1 Meal edition) (Tuesday, September 28)   Table of contents Lunch Craft beer Dinner   Lunch I was going to eat the “Hatto Zen” of the local cuisine of Iwate Prefecture in “the brewery restaurant Seki no ichi” (a 10-minute walk from JR Ichinoseki Station) in Ichinoseki, but did not go Unfortunately in the regular holiday of the restaurant. https://edokagura.com/en/local-cuisine/402/ I had lunch at “Sansaikan Fujisei” in Ichinoseki (a 2-minute walk from the west exit of JR Ichinoseki Station). Japanese people eat mochi during the New Year, but they don’t eat much except during the New Year. However, Ichinoseki has a culture of eating mochi on a daily basis, and I also had “Hitokuchi Mochi Gozen” for lunch. “Hitokuchi Mochi Gozen” contains 8 small mochi (natto mochi, walnut mochi, june mochi, anko mochi, zuda mochi, ginger mochi, sesame mochi, shrimp mochi) in addition to the mochi in the Ozoni ( Japanese traditional soup).  The taste of all mochi is different.
