In the afternoon, we will visit the national important cultural property in Sapporo and head to the summit of Mt. Moiwa.

1. Hoheikan

(13 minutes walk from CURRY YA! CONG, 6 minutes walk from Nakajima Koen Station)

Hoheikan was completed in 1881 as an accommodation facility. It is a national important cultural property.

 

2. Hassoan

(2 minutes walk from Hoheikan)

It is said that it was designed by Kobori Enshu, a tea master who was a daimyo in the early Edo period (the lord of Bitchu Matsuyama Castle and later the lord of the Komuro feudal clan in Omi Province). The tea room in Nagahama City, Shiga Prefecture was relocated to Sapporo in 1919. It is a national important cultural property.

 

3. Sapporo Fushimi Inari Shrine

6 minutes walk from Hassoan to Nakajima Koen Station

It was founded in 1884. It is known for its 26 red torii gates.

 

4. the summit of Mt. Moiwa

(The Moiwayama Ropeway platform is a 10-minute walk from Sapporo Fushimi Inari Shrine)

The set fee for the ropeway / mini cable car is Yen 1,800 for adults and Yen 900  for children (elementary school students and younger).

The service interval is 15 minutes.

The sunset time is expected to be 17:31 on September 21 (the harvest moon).

5. Dinner

We will eat Jingisukan from around 17:00. It is a local dish of Hokkaido listed in the “100 selections of local favorites” selected by the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries.

6. Transfer to New Chitose Airport

To catch the last flight to Haneda at New Chitose Airport, you should leave Susukino Station at 18:55 or 19:10.
