September itinerary in Japan Day 1,2 (Miyagi Accommodation edition)
(Accommodation on September 26th and 27th)
In Sendai, I stayed for two nights at a “Henn na Hotel” that just opened on September 1, 2021. It was a very interesting experience and I would like to introduce it to everyone. “Henn na Hotel” is Guinness World Records certified as the world’s first hotel where robots work.

First of all, in the corridor from the entrance of the hotel to the front desk, projection mapping such as phoenix that move like flying in the corridor and Zuihoden welcomes you. Already, I feel really excited.
There are no people at the front desk of the hotel, and “holograms of light” such as Date Masamune and dinosaurs welcome guests. Check-in is completed by simply typing your name on the check-in terminal. Check-in was very smooth.
I sent luggage such as clothes and power cords to the hotel in advance to enjoy the “luggage-free trip”. You can pick up your luggage by calling the staff in the room behind the front desk. When you call the staff, the background turns red, and Date Masamune and the dinosaurs are in a hurry.
The room was clean and comfortable as it was just opened. I think it was large enough. In addition, all rooms are equipped with an automatic cleaning machine called LG styler, which can remove wrinkles and unpleasant odors from clothes. In the dry mode, it absorbed the sweat of the clothes well. However, LG styler does not have a washing function. A coin-operated laundry was set up in the hotel, so please use it separately when washing.
“Henn na Hotel” is reasonably priced, so why not stay overnight when you visit Sendai?
