Features : Ekiben (Lunch box) at Ichinoseki Station. This ekiben was revived for the 35th anniversary of the Tohoku Shinkansen. It contains teriyaki chicken. The packaging is inspired by the “Keibai” of Nanbu Kagura. |
2. Domanaka Hyakusen (Yamagata Prefecture)
Features : This ekiben combines the popular “Beef Domannaka” at Yonezawa Station in Yamagata Prefecture with the seafood “Kaisen Domannaka”. It can be detached into two pieces and comes with two sets of chopsticks, so it can be eaten by two people. |
3. Beef Harami Steak (skirt steak) Bento (Yamagata Prefecture)
Features : Ekiben (Lunch box) at Yonezawa Station in Yamagata Prefecture, and is manufactured and sold by Matsukawa Bento Store, a long-established ekiben shop dating back to 1899. Two different flavors can be enjoyed: Western-style dice steak and Japanese-style cut steak. |
4. Beef treasure Bento (Yamagata Prefecture)
Features : Ekiben (Lunch box) at Yonezawa Station. This luxurious ekiben contains Yonezawa beef and Yamagata beef, both of which are brand-name beef of Yamagata Prefecture. Yamagata beef is beef raised in Yamagata Prefecture, and Yonezawa beef is beef raised only in Okitama in Yamagata Prefecture. |
5. Salmon, salmon roe and sea urchin Bento (Niigata Prefecture)
Features : Ekiben (Lunch box) at Niigata Station. A sumptuous bento topped with salmon meat, salmon roe (harako), and sea urchin. Harako-meshi, a famous local dish of Miyagi Prefecture, is also a local dish of Murakami City, Niigata Prefecture. In Niigata Prefecture, it is called “harako-don” (harako bowl). |
6. Charcoal Grill Style Beef Tongue Lunchbox (Tokyo)
Features : This ekiben is made and sold by Nihonbashi Omasu in Tokyo and features Sendai’s famous beef tongue. Since a container with a heating function is used, the ekiben can be eaten warm without a microwave oven. |

Features : Ekiben (Lunch box) at Odawara Station, produced and sold by Tokaken, a long-established ekiben shop established in 1888. In its early days, the company sold onigiri (rice ball) boxed lunches wrapped in a bamboo skin. Shonan Shirasu” is Kanagawa Prefecture’s “PRIDE FISH” selected by the National Federation of Fishery Cooperative Associations. |

特徵 : 新瀉車站的鐵路便當,是有鮭魚肉、鮭魚卵和海膽的豪華便當。鮭魚親子蓋飯(Harako-meshi)是宮城縣有名的特色料理,而它在新瀉縣上市也是當地的特色料理,在新瀉縣被稱為「鮭魚親子丼(Harako-don)」。 |

特徵 : 柿葉壽司是奈良縣的鄉土料理,並獲日本農林水產省選為奈良縣「鄉土料理百選」之一。因為在料理完成後可以存放三天,所以在東京也能買得到。 |
